Chain Link Fence Climbing Robot

The goal of this mechatronics course project was to design and build a robot capable of climbing a chain link fence, oriented normally (90 degrees) or at 45 degrees. We weren't entirely successful. But what lessons did I learn? 1. Succeed first with a simple idea that achieves your goals--donít get fancy!--then iterate to more advance designs. 2. Problems in the design phase donít resolve themselves during the production phase. 3. Donít stick with a bad plan, scrap it quickly to make room for a something better.

This was the initial "flip" concept. BAD IDEA
